Common questions
The short answers
What people ask most: before buying, while installing, on the trip and about money.
Before you buy
Does my phone support eSIM?
Dial *#06#: if a line called EID shows up, it does. The phone also must not be locked to a carrier: on an iPhone, go to Settings › General › About — next to “Carrier Lock” it should say “No SIM Restrictions”.
Do I have to take out my SIM card?
No. The eSIM works alongside it: your main SIM keeps receiving calls and texts on your number, and data on the trip goes through the eSIM.
Will I keep my WhatsApp number?
Yes. Your number stays on your main SIM, and WhatsApp, Telegram and other messengers are tied to your number, not to the SIM that carries the data. Your chats and contacts stay, and calls through messengers work.
Can I make calls and send texts?
Not with our eSIM: the plans are data only. Calls and texts stay on your main SIM — at your carrier’s rates. Calling through WhatsApp or Telegram works: that’s data too.
Is there a plan for several countries at once?
Yes, 15 regional plans — for example all of Europe, the Balkans, the USA with Canada, or the whole world. One eSIM for the whole trip.
Does the price include taxes?
Yes. The plan’s price is the total: no activation fee, no deposit and no shipping — nothing physical is sent.
Installing
When do I get my eSIM?
Usually within a few minutes of payment: the QR code appears on screen and always stays in your account under “Your eSIMs”.
When should I install it, and when does the plan start?
Install it at home over Wi-Fi, a day or two before the trip. For most plans the validity starts when your phone first connects to a network there, not when you buy it. Some plans start counting as soon as they are installed — the ticket says which, so don’t install one of those long in advance. Also: if the plan also covers the country you are in now (for example Europe bought in Poland), it can start at home once installed — switch its line off until the trip, as the installation guide shows.
Nothing to scan the QR code with?
Paste the code instead: on your ticket in your account, tap “Copy the code” and paste it in your phone’s settings — whole, with nothing to add. An iPhone asks for two fields, and on an iPhone the ticket shows them separately. Step by step — in “How to install your eSIM”.
How to install your eSIMCan I delete the eSIM and install it again?
Don’t delete the eSIM before the plan ends: it usually can’t be installed again. Once the plan has ended, you can delete it — it’s no longer needed.
On the trip
Do I need to turn on data roaming? Won’t my carrier bill me?
For the eSIM, yes — without it, it usually won’t connect. Your carrier won’t bill you for data if the data goes through the eSIM and data roaming is off on your main SIM.
How do I see how much data is left?
In your account: every eSIM shows what’s left. The network reports usage with a delay, sometimes every few hours — tap “Ask for a fresh reading”.
Open your accountWhat happens when the data runs out?
The plan simply ends: nothing renews and nothing is charged again. An eSIM can’t be topped up yet — if you need more, buy another plan for the same destination.
The internet doesn’t work — what do I do?
Check that data goes through the eSIM and data roaming is on for it. Turn airplane mode on and off. Still nothing — write to us from your account: every eSIM has “A problem with this eSIM?”.
What to check, step by stepPayment and refunds
How do I pay?
In złoty — BLIK, card, Apple Pay or Google Pay; in euros or US dollars — card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Payment runs through Stripe, our payment provider: card details go into its form and never reach us. There’s no auto-renewal — every plan is a one-off purchase.
Can I get my money back?
Until the eSIM is installed — yes, in full, within 180 days of purchase. Once it’s installed, you can still withdraw from the contract within 14 days of purchase: tap “Request a refund” in your account and choose “I am withdrawing from the contract” — we refund the price less the part of the service provided up to the withdrawal. If the eSIM is installed but the internet never worked, request a refund too and describe the problem: support reviews the request, and the decision appears under “Refunds”.
Open your accountAlready bought, but the phone doesn’t support eSIM?
Don’t install it: until the eSIM is installed, you get your money back in full. Tap “Request a refund” on that purchase in your account.
